Do your products contain peanuts?
Yes. We make Helene’s cookies which contain peanut butter. We do not use actual peanuts in any other products.
However, these cookies are made using a separate oven & utensils and in separate batches.
Do your products contain tree nuts or peanuts?
Yes. We use locally grown Maui macadamia nuts, which are tree nuts.
We also use coconuts, and peanut butter in cookies (made in separate batches and using separate utensils and oven).
Can I purchase your products on Maui at the address shown on your label?
Yes. This is where make our products, right here in Wailuku, on Maui. Our kitchen is open for pick up by appointment only.
What is the shelf life of your products?
We hand make our products in small batches and do not use stabilizers or added preservatives. For this reason you may notice that our ‘sell by’ date is not as long as some large companies.
Our macadamia brittle has a ‘sell by’ date of 5 weeks from manufacture date. Our coconut candy and cacao crunch has a 60-day ‘sell by’ date and our roasted macadamia nut products a 90-day ‘sell by’ date.
Of course, you can enjoy them or much longer if the products are kept air-tight and refrigerated or frozen.
What is the little white packet in your brittle & nut products?
This is a food-grade silica gel packet to help keep our products fresh in our Hawaiian humidity and moisture. It is odorless and harmless, but should not be eaten.
Do you ship to Guam?
Yes. We ship throughout the United States via FedEx.
Why are there no nutritional facts on your packaging?
The FDA has a small business exemption for nutritional labeling which is based on the volume of products made.
This helps small businesses introduce products and grow without the additional financial hardship of product testing and re-labeling. We hope to add nutritional facts in the next coming year or so, as our business grows.
Do you ship to Canada or other countries?
It is possible to ship to other countries. However, International Priority Mail service is extremely costly and shipping cost depend on destination country, weight of box being shipped, distance of travel and customs/duties fees if applicable.

What is your return/refund policy?
We are unable to exchange any products once they leave the premises. Please review your shopping cart prior to finalizing your order to ensure you have selected the appropriate products. Please also ensure that you have provided an accurate physical shipping address.
If you feel that there is a problem with product quality, please contact us in writing. At our discretion we may replace the product or provide a refund for product.
If we make a mistake on the recipient ship to address and the package does not arrive we will resend the order at no charge. If you make a mistake on the ship to address and realize the error during transit you may request a re-routing of package via the delivery service company. There is a fee for this service which you are responsible for.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and payments are made directly through our online shop.
You may also send payment via check if you do not have a credit card.
However we withhold shipment until the check is received and funds have cleared the bank.
How long will it take to receive my order once it's placed online?
We handmake our products several days each week. We are typically able to fulfill an order within 3 business days. We ship both FedEx and USPS priority mail, which will take another 3 business days or so to receive (excluding weekends/holidays). NOTE: If shipping to a PO Box or US territory we must ship via USPS priority mail. Typically we ship FedEx to physical street addresses within the United States.
The rule of thumb is about 1 week to receive your order. If you need your order by a specific date please indicate so in the notes’ area on the order form. We will contact you via email if there is a concern regarding expected delivery date.
